Anyone who is interested in working at a business school will be interested to hear about the latest resource available to him or her. The AACSB, an accrediting body, announced the launch of BizSchoolJobs, a Web site dedicated to linking people interested in jobs as administrators or faculty at a business school with employers.
"Whether you want to reach the best and brightest business school professionals or need a focused source for your management education job search, BizSchoolJobs is the only career center exclusively dedicated to business schools," said Brenda Lovell, vice president and chief education officer at AACSB International, according to an AACSB press release. "By improving the quality of the job search experience, BizSchoolJobs provides new resources and posting capabilities for both the applicant and the employer."
I have not used the service myself, so I can't speak of its quality or usefulness. But the one plus I did see was that job applicants can participate for free, and they can post their resume anonymously, so current employers don't have to know they're looking elsewhere. If you're thinking about working with your alma mater or simply long to work at a business school, you might want to check this out.
